Stas Tagios (age 41)
By Remamber editorialStas Tagios was employed as a cameraman on the popular telenet series LIFE when, on January the ninth, 2008, he became a casualty of an ambering event at 11th and Lexington. His footage of the event remains the most viewed ambering footage since the ambering protocol began. Mr. Tagios was a native of Seattle, Washington, but was, in essence, a resident of the world, travelling tirelessly while lending his camera skills to a variety of programming, from the hard-hitting historical series THE TEXAS CHRONICLES to the childrens’ edutainment series SOCK IT TO ME.
Remamber donations go to a scholarship at Mr. Tagios' alma mater, the New York School of Televisual Arts. -

Grey Van Kuilenburg (age 36)
Reclusive Dutch artist Grey Van Kuilenburg gained prominence in the mid-90's due to his work in organic bronze and marble sculpture. His mixed-media installation of "The Caligari Vortex" (1997) was visited by over 1 million people during its run at MOMA. Although he rarely gave interviews, Van Kuilenburg's ambered body can now be seen at the corner of 8th and Plaza, where he fell subject to a quarantine during a late-night cigarette break. As Van Kuilenburg was quarantined mid-ashing his cigarette, his final pose is often likened to that of Bernini's "David". Some scholars believe that Van Kuilenburg anticipated the quarantine and planned his final moments to approximate the famous statue, leaving the community with one last artistic homage.
Viewing Van Kuilenburg is currently free to the public, although his family plans to erect a retrospective around his quarantined zone, with proceeds going toward amber relief research. -
Mr. Tennant
My name is Genny Hutchison and I am in the third grade. I am writing because of my dog, Mr. Tennant. Mr. Tennant got away from my mom during a querentine alarm and ran into a building. I couldn't find him before the last alarm even though I tried. My mom says he is in a better place now. I just wanted everyone to know that I miss him very much and I hope to see him again one day. I also hope he is happy. He used to like to eat the couch, so maybe he found a really good couch to nibble on.
Yours sincerely, Genny Hutchison
